Hello & Welcome to aranj!

ARANJ is an educational floral design company founded by Kaitlyn Gilston in January 2019.

Kaitlyn’s love of flowers started at a young age and was nurtured by her Mum and Grandmother, both of whom were avid gardeners. Fast forward and Kaitlyn honed her floral design skills during her 8-year career as an Event Producer & Designer for a NYC based hospitality company.

Kaitlyn firmly believes that knowing how to put together a beautiful floral arrangement is a life skill that everyone should possess - Like riding a bike or setting a dinner table! We will all purchase flowers or be gifted flowers at some point in our lives so knowing what kinds of flowers to purchase, how to properly condition them and then how to thoughtfully arrange them is a skill we should all possess!

Additionally, knowing how to arrange flowers is not only a practical life skill but also a beneficial life skill, as it is proven that having fresh flowers in your living space along with the physical act of arranging flowers has many health, happiness and wellness advantages.

During any ARANJ class, guests can expect to receive all required materials & instruction in order to execute the focus of their selected class. Upon conclusion, guests will be able to take their floral creations home with them to enjoy.

Imagine a grey world without almonds, apples or fragrant flowers… Sounds terrible, right?

Unfortunately, that’s the shocking future we face if we don’t work to help our most precious pollinator: BEES!

In response, ARANJ has partnered with The Honeybee Conservancy, a non-profit organization that works to help the bees. A portion of ARANJ sales will be donated to The Honeybee Conservancy so we can all assist in the conservation & sustainability of the bee population.
